Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama created its 4 millionth engine in September. The Huntsville plant makes 4-cylinder, V6 and V8 engines that go into seven Toyota vehicles built in North America. The 4 millionth engine was a 4-cylinder.
Alabama Credit Union has been selected as one of the 45 credit unions making up the Best Credit Unions to Work for in 2015 listing by Credit Union Journal. ACU came in at no. 4 on the ranking and was the only Alabama firm on the list.
Associated Builders & Contractors of Alabama has received accreditation from the ABC National chapter and will not have to resubmit for accreditation again until 2019.
Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles PC, of Montgomery, has been included in the Law 360 Most Feared Plaintiffs Firm list for 2015. Beasley Allen was recognized for its cumulative wins over the past year.

NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville recently recognized several prime contractors, subcontractors and civil-service teams for their support of the aerospace business. Taking home the top honors were: Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. for Large Business Prime Contractor of the Year; Dynetics Technical Services for Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year; and Willbrook Solutions Inc. for Small Business Subcontractor of the Year.
Professional Collision Spring Hill, of Mobile, has been certified by Assured Performance for maintaining the right equipment, training and facility necessary to repair participating automaker brand vehicles according to manufacturers’ specifications.
Red Sage Communications Inc., of Decatur, has received five international Web Marketing Association WebAwards, including Outstanding Website for the Find More Madison, the city of Madison’s website.
ServisFirst Bancshares Inc. has been named to the Sandler O’Neill Sm-All Stars Class of 2015, one of 34 publicly traded banks and thrifts selected. This is the second consecutive year ServisFirst has been recognized.
United Bank, of Atmore, has been presented the 2015 Business Enterprise Award by the U.S. Treasury Department for increasing its lending, investing and service activities in distressed communities. This marks the fifth consecutive award for the bank.
The University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce’s Manderson Graduate School of Business was recognized by Forbes for its return on investment for its graduates five years after graduation. The 2014 average salary for Manderson MBA graduates was $97,000.
Southern Political Report listed Adams & Reese as the no. 1 for Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee in The South's Top Government Affairs Firms and Lobbyists.
Calhoun Community College's Public Affairs, Community Relations and Special Events department received a first place Pyramid Award, five Awards of Achievement and five Awards of Merit from the Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association.
Florence/Lauderdale Tourism has received a Shining Example Award for the Tourism Office of the Year from the Southeast Tourism Society (STS). Tigers for Tomorrow, in Attalla, won the Shining Example Award as the Escape to the Southeast Travel Attraction of the Year by STS. In addition, three North Alabama events were recognized by STS as Top 20 Events in the Southeast: First Friday Gadsden, First Friday Florence and the Jerry Brown Arts Festival.
Snead State Community College won two Pyramid Awards from the Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association.
