The Mobile Airport Authority announced the resignation of Roger Wehner as executive director in February. Mark McVay is serving as interim director.
Erin Stephenson has joined PNC Bank as vice president and director of client and community relations for Alabama.
James Whitfield Bird III has joined Robertson Banking Co. as city executive of the Birmingham market.
Edward Stivers has been named to ServisFirst Bancshares Inc.’s board for Montgomery, and Michelle Rotton and Christian Ware have been promoted to senior vice presidents there.
Scott Killman has joined Trustmark as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager in Montgomery.
Renasant Corp. has opened a Mobile location and hired Mark Fillers as its South Alabama president. In addition to Fillers, Ryan New and April DePaola have been named senior vice president and commercial relationship managers. Others joining the team are Suzanne Chatten, Noel Turner, Deedee Webb, Lisa Stauter and Della Brewer.
Jimmy Baker has been named Alabama Community College System chancellor, replacing Mark Heinrich, who recently retired.
Iowa State University President Steven Leath will become Auburn University’s 19th president in July. Leath replaces Jay Gogue, who is retiring.
