A month of achievements in Alabama business

The Springs of Mill Lakes, Auburn/Opelika’s master-planned community for 55 and older active adults, has received four Gold and four Silver Awards from the 55+ Housing Industry Council of the National Association of Home Builders. The development includes 134 single-family custom homes, as well as resort-style amenities like zero-entry pools, pickleball court, event lawn and clubhouse with a fitness center, catering kitchen and ballroom dance floor.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville was selected among the top science and tech universities in America by Popular Mechanics.
