AMICO Security, of Birmingham, has received an M5.0 security rating on its ANC fence system. This designation is important for uses by the military, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, industrial businesses and utilities.

For a third consecutive year, Montgomery-based Rice Advisory LLC has been named Alabama’s top municipal financial advisor by Thomson Reuters. For the year ending December 31, 2016, Rice completed work on 39 municipal bond issues totaling $1.745 billion in par amount.
