Berkadia LLC was recently honored by CoStar Group Inc. as one of the top commercial real estate firms in Alabama, based on total sales transactions closed during 2014. In addition, principal David Oakley (middle) and senior vice presidents David Etchison (left) and Royce Emerson (right) were named among the Top CoStar Power Brokers in the market for achieving the highest transaction volumes in commercial property sales in 2014.
The Home Builders Association of Alabama recently presented its Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards to the following companies, which were the winners in each category: WSC Distinctive Builders LLC for Best in Show, for Whole House Remodel Over $500,000, for Additions Under $100,000, and for Space Renovation; Chad Stearns Builder LLC for Whole House Remodel Under $250,000; Willow Homes for Whole House Remodel $250,000-$500,000; Counter Dimensions for Kitchen Remodel Under $40,000 and for Kitchen Remodel $40,000-$80,000; Lovette Construction for Kitchen Remodel Over $80,000 and Bath Remodel $20,000-$50,000; Slaton Custom Homes for Bath Remodel Under $20,000 and Bath Remodel Over $50,000; Precision Homecrafters LLC for Additions $100,000-$250,000, for Exterior Remodel, for Outdoor Living and for Residential Specialty Project; ELM Construction LLC for Basement Remodel; Taylor Burton Co. Associa McKay Management, of Birmingham, recently won the Small Branch of the Year award at Associa’s 2015 Leadership Summit. The award recognizes the firm’s achievements in 2014 for client growth, retention and profitability.
