Knauf Insulation has announced plans to reopen its Lanett plant. The firm closed the plant in 2011 and is now investing $20 million to upgrade and reopen, with plans to fill 90 jobs.
Brooks Peanut Co. has broken ground for a $6 million peanut warehouse near Flomaton. Farmers within a 50-mile radius of the new warehouse are partners in the project, the Atmore Advance reports.
