Huntsman withdraws from presidential race, endorses rival Romney

Former Utah governor and current presidential candidate Jon Huntsman suspended his bid for the Rebpublican nomination on Monday, endorsing former Massachusetts governor and rival candidate, Mitt Romney.

This news come after Huntsman received dismal support in last week's New Hampshire primary, a state he dedicated a significant amount of campaign time in after opting out of the first contest in Iowa earlier in the new year.

According to Huntman's spokesperson, Tim Miller, the candidate phoned Romney Sunday evening and talked with him about how he could assist him in his campaign. There is no official word yet on whether or not Huntsman will join Romney on his campaign or assist him in any other way.
