Who's moving up?
Keith Bagley has been named president of Hartzell Engine Technologies LLC. He takes over from Mike Disbrow, who retired January 1.
John Turner Jr. has been named president of Regions Bank and Regions Financial Corp. He was previously senior executive vice president and a member of the Executive Council.
Doug Thomas will lead River Bank & Trust’s new Daphne loan production office. In addition, Tara Hickey has joined River Mortgage Services as vice president and the secondary mortgage manager for the Coastal Region.
Chris Curran, of DeAngelis Diamond, has been promoted to vice president of preconstruction and estimating.
ThreatAdvice, located in Birmingham, has named Steve Hines president.
Jacksonville State University graduate Jeremy Straub has been recently awarded a patent for a technology that solves a key problem related to 3D printing.
Angelo Della Manna, of Hoover, has been appointed director of the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. He had been deputy director.

Matthew Fajack has joined the University of Alabama as vice president for financial affairs.
The Rheumatology Research Foundation has appointed S. Louis Bridges Jr. director of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology as vice president. In addition, UAB alumnus John Strohm has been named president of Rounder Records in Nashville.
Austin Monk has joined Wallace State Community College as director of workforce development.

Erin Eun-Young Ahn, an associate professor of oncologic sciences at USA Mitchell Cancer Institute, has been named the recipient of the 2017 Mayer Mitchell Award for Excellence in Cancer Research.
