Hillary Stanley has joined Russell Thompson Butler & Houston as executive coordinator. In addition, Casey Rodden has joined the firm as senior accountant.
Kendall Lowe Hamilton, dealer principal at Devan Lowe Inc., in Rainbow City, has been nominated for the 2017 TIME Dealer of the Year award.
Regions Financial Corp. has appointed Samuel Di Piazza Jr. and James Prokopanko to its board of directors. Di Piazza is former CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prokopanko is former president and CEO of The Mosaic Co.
Cameron Coleman has been promoted to commercial banking officer for Trustmark Corp.
Scott Blake has joined USAmeriBank as residential mortgage production manager for Central Alabama.
Hancock Holding Co. has named Dean Liollio, Joanie Teofilo and Richard Wilkins to its board of directors. Liollio is president of PAA Natural Gas Storage LLC. Teofilo is president and CEO of The Energy Authority. Wilkins is a shareholder at the law firm Maynard Cooper & Gale.
Chambers of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama has named Julie Hindall its workforce development project manager. In addition, the chamber recently presented several awards to Northport leaders. They were: Joe Hardy, owner of Northport 5 & 10 – Business Leader Award; Catherine Kiser Hocutt, teacher at Huntington Place Elementary - Education Leader Award; Bruce Edward Davis Sr., retired U.S. Postal Service employee – Historian/Pioneer Award; Manuel Jimenez, of Northport Fire and Rescue – Public Safety Leader Award; and Rusty Selman, pastor at Northwood Hills Baptist Church – Religious Leader award.
J. David Pugh, a partner in Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, has been elected chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors Alabama Chapter Executive Committee.
Ashley Colburn has been named director of SmartBuild for Hoar Holdings. SmartBuild is Hoar's branding of lean construction processes and procedures.
Wrendon Davis of Davis Plumbing Co., Joe Hocklander of Mobile Gas and Cliff Pitman of H.C. Pitman Inc. have been inducted into the Alabama Building Industry Hall of Fame by the Home Builders Association of Alabama.
Lon Varns has joined Avadian Credit Union as its new card services manager. Also, Denise Taylor has been hired as its new corporate project manager and Jeremy Braman has been named the Madison branch manager.
Kelly Krigbaum, an instructor for the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Wallace State Community College, has received the Alabama Occupational Therapy Association Award of Excellence. In addition, Mary Medendorp, the simulation coordinator for the college's nursing program, has achieved her certification as a simulation educator from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.

The Bruno Event Team has promoted Sean Van Kesteren to assistant vice president and senior director of the firm's golf division in Canada.
The Alabama Grocers Association recently presented its Food Industry Finest awards. The winners are: Vendor of the Year - Johnny Collins of Barber's Dairy; Retailer of the Year – Naseem Ajlouny of Piggly Wiggly; and Wholesaler of the Year – Jack Carlile of Supervalu.
Doug Brewer has been named chief executive officer of Citizens Baptist Medical Center.
Daniel Feig, M.D. is the first holder of the Margaret M. Porter Endowed Chair in Pediatric Nephology at Children's of Alabama. Elizabeth Beierle, M.D. is the first holder of the Charles D. McCrary Endowed Chair in Pediatric Surgery at the hospital. Also, Pankaj Dangle, M.D. has joined the hospital as a pediatric urologist and has recently performed the first pediatric urologic surgery in Alabama.
Bill Turenne, CEO and owner of Turenne & Associates, has been chosen to represent Alabama as a member of the American Health Care Association's Future Leaders program for 2016-2017.

The Hotel Indigo Tuscaloosa Downtown has named Greg Hopton-Jones as director of sales and Stephanie Katz as sales manager.
Mary Rooney has been named president of the Alabama Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers for 2016-2017. She is the owner of Mary Rooney Interior Dimensions LLC.

Huntsville partner Jeremy Smith has been appointed to a three-year term as chair of the American Bar Association Business Law Section's Intellectual Property Committee. Huntsville partner Scott Burnett Smith has been recognized with the DRI Tom Segalla Excellence in Education award. Partner Tripp Haston has received the Benchmark Chambers International's Letter of Appointment as a U.S. foreign legal specialist. And the firm has hired 13 new associates in its Alabama offices.
